The SD Enthusiasts'Club Newsletter

   Volume 2 Issue 3               Autumn 2011

Now in our Ninth year of publication.

From the Editor.

Can Autumn really be just around the corner? As August marches on I've had to turn my mind to another issue of the SD Enthusiasts' Club Newsletter. And I've had plenty of material to fill its pages. There's a whole lot of news about vehicles that are still surviving. Then Jeff Robson and Derek Coulson have kindly written in. Jeff writes about his father, Edwin, whose career at S&D whilst being remarkable was not all that unusual. The SD 40 Club recognises the many people who made their life's work at S&D. Derek writes as one who kept the SD's performing the work for which they were designed.

I'm missing the contact that I used to have with those who subscribed to the paper version of the Club magazine, so any emails will be more than welcome.

Brian Carpenter. Editor. 1st September 2011.
