Now in our Eighth year of publication.
From the Editor.
The main topics of this issue are accounts of S&D war production of tank transporter trailers and the Welfreighter submersible. This article utilises photographs mercifully saved from re-cycling. Then the introduction of fibreglass is featured, before turning to news of former employees and S&D vehicles still in existence. On page 5 we announce this year's SD gathering and an interesting issue of Roadscene magazine. Whilst we have some remarkable news for you on page 6,
For this issue have used larger file sizes than customary for the photos. If this causes any difficulties please let me know, but since most people now use broadband I hope you like the larger images.
Brian Carpenter. Editor. 1st March 2010.
